Is it really possible to fall asleep quickly and easily using 100% natural methods that are completely safe?

I know what it's like to have problems sleeping. If I don't get a good night's rest I feel trashed all the next day. I have no energy and I walk around looking like some kind of zombie straight out of a horror movie. The Worst of it is that my work suffers and I can sometimes get irritable and snap at my friends and family over the most unimportant things.

Friends sggested I get a quick fix by visiting my doctor and get some sleeping pills, but I had to ask myself... Do I really want to deal with some potential side effect that might create a bigger problem then the one I have already? Do sleeping pills really provide a long term solution? Or are they more like a band aid by providing a temporary fix to a much bigger problem...

What I wanted and what I felt I needed was a solution to my sleeping problems now ...something that works quickly. Something that can be a long term solution and it has to be 100% natural and completely safe.

So I checked out a whole bunch of products that claimed to cure all sorts of sleeping problems using various natural remedies. There was a lot of overlap between most of the stuff I found, but there were 3 products that I thought stood out from the crowd that met the following key criteria.

  • Focused on providing a long term solution.
  • 100% natural and safe.
  • Affordable with a strong money back guarantee.

When I first came across SleepTracks I really wasn’t sure what to expect. The author describes SleepTracks as a total sleep optimization program. The description sounded intriguing, but left me with a lot of questions as to what the program actually was.

Overview – SleepTracks really is a total sleep optimization program. The program is a multiple component system comprised primarily of an audio portion with a supplemental set of videos and a small quick start guide. The program is delivered to you in 2 ways. First you can download and view all parts of the program immediately after purchase. But you are also shipped a CD version of the entire program by postal mail free of charge.

The main portion of the SleepTracks optimization program is a set of problem specific audio cd’s that you listen to before bed and while you sleep. SleepTracks works through the use of binaural beats using a process known as entrainment. Brainwave entrainment is a well documented proven process that is used to alter and shift brainwaves in a safe and natural way. Basically SleepTracks gently relaxes you and guides your brainwaves into a mental state similar to sleep. But that is not all there is to the program.

Also included is over 2 hours of video that cover every area related to sleep and insomnia. For example, the author talks about how to use the audio component of the program including specific instructions and background information for each CD. He also explains in detail how binaural beats work and how the process of entrainment will help you sleep. Also discussed are the root causes behind most sleeping problems and how to best treat them in a holistic manner. The set of videos are extremely in depth. After watching the videos I felt like I just took a week long college course on the science of sleep.

The last part of the program is a small manual that summarizes key points outlined in the videos and provides additional important information on how to best use the SleepTracks optimization program. The manual also contains an FAQ section which answers many common questions and concerns about the program.

The Good – Overall I feel this is very complete program. I found the audios to be effective and something that I was able to use immediately. I was also really impressed by the video portion of the course. It was very clear that the programs author is quite passionate about the subject and has spent a huge amount of time researching information and gathering data.

The Bad – When I first started using the audio portion of the program I did experience a minor side effect during the first 3 nights. I developed a strange sense of pressure in my head right after listening to the audio. It was nothing major, but was annoying. Luckily this is talked about in the quick start guide and it seems that for some people it takes a little bit of time for the brain to adjust. By the 4 night the sensation was gone has not come back since.

Final Verdict – I have to say out of all the programs I looked at that claimed to cure insomnia and improve one’s sleep, this is the only one I felt really delivered on all fronts. If you’re suffering from insomnia or just not sleeping well, you owe it to yourself to at least take a closer look at this program. It might be just what you need to finally get a good night’s rest.

2. Natural Sleep Secrets

Now let’s take a look at the Natural Sleep Secrets System. Natural Sleep Secrets claims to provide a step by step easy to implement system that will cure insomnia and help you have more energy in your daily life. The system was supposedly put together from the authors own personal research and experiences as a long time insomniac. The author strongly insinuates that there is some kind of conspiracy going on within pharmaceutical companies to keep the public in the dark about many natural therapies used to treat insomnia.

Overview - The Sleep Secrets System is a downloadable product that is delivered immediately after purchase. The book itself is about 72 pages long and divided into 4 parts. The first part of the book is short primer on the basics of sleep. The second part of the book introduces the 5 stages of sleep, explains the relationship between brainwaves and insomnia and finally discusses your inner sleep system.

The third part of the book is titled “Circadian Meltdown”. This portion of the book covers how various aspects of your lifestyle affect your body’s natural circadian rhythms. Examples of some of the topics covered include light exposure, diet, stress, and the mind body relationship.

The Final part of the book is titled “Getting Back on Track the Natural Way”. This is actually the meat of the book and is where most of the strategies used to treat insomnia are finally described.

The Good – The book seems very well researched and covers just about every crucial area related to sleep and insomnia. The author does a good job of explaining topics that sound overly complicated. Many portions of the book are very detailed with lots of clear explanations, research and actionable steps.

The Bad – My biggest gripe with this book is twofold. First the fact that the book is so detailed may be a turn off to some people; I mean these pages are jam packed with information. The second and more serious problem is that this product is labeled a “system”. While you could argue that this is indeed a complete system, it may be too large of a system to actually implement.

Final Verdict – On the whole I think this is a very solid book on treating insomnia, but it is clearly not for everyone. If you go into this product expecting a simple system to finally get some sleep you may end up disappointed. If however you are willing to make a lot of changes in your overall life style, this might be just the ticket you need for a lifetime of good rest.

3. Banish Insomnia NOW!

Banish Insomnia has a couple things in common with the Natural Sleep Secrets System I reviewed above. Both authors make it well known that they feel prescription sleeping pills are not the answer and that drugs only treat the symptoms of insomnia, but do not treat the root causes behind insomnia. Both authors are also strong advocates in using all natural methods to cure all forms of sleeping issues, since they feel they provide a much better long term solution.

Overview - Banish insomnia is a 39 page downloadable ebook that is suppose to provide a step by step plan to cure even the worst cases of insomnia and also help you have more energy due to getting a better night’s sleep. When I first started reading the book, the author said something that made a lot of sense to me. The author pointed out that there is no one single method that is perfect for everyone and wants the reader to try the various techniques and find a combination that works best for them.

The Good – What I liked about Banish insomnia was that much of the information was very direct and to the point. Each section of the book is pretty fluff free. Another thing I liked was that the author discusses some causes for sleeping problems that no other product I reviewed discussed.

For example, the author brings up how if you sleep beside someone in bed, how they may be doing certain things that are contributing to your sleeping problems. Almost every product I reviewed talks about the same stuff, but from its own unique perspective with some additional information here and there. It was nice to see someone bring to light a possible contributing factor to my sleeping problems that I was completely overlooking.

The Bad – I know I said one of the things I really liked was how straight to the point this book was, but I did feel some areas could have been covered more in depth. The biggest flaw I found with this product was the actual cure itself. The way the cure is laid out is a double edged sword. The author basically lists various remedies by first describing a specific cause and then giving you a simple solution for that particular problem. It wasn’t cohesiveness enough for me. It was pretty much like; if this is your problem then try this.

Final Verdict – If you’re the type of person who responds well when someone gives you simple directions on what to do and what not do then this might be perfect for you, especially if you’re good at self diagnosing your particular problem. The way the information is presented in a “cause = solution” format makes this product really easy to follow. I just wish the book had more to it.
